Bring your kids to discover one of Missouri's most helpful mammals - the bat! Explore the world of bats as you help capture them in mist nets while they travel along the Meramec River corridor to feed and migrate to their summer habitat.
Insect repellent is strongly suggested. Participants must wear long pants, closed-toed shoes and bring a flashlight. For all ages. 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Transitions Camp is a one-week, half-day camp for girls transitioning from 5th to 6th grade. This camp provides an opportunity for parents to empower their daughters with the emotional and physical tools and behavior models that will help them meet the challenges of middle school and their tween/teen years.
This drop-in class will teach families a variety of games that can be played outdoors with few or no materials required. This class is designed to give families a chance to enjoy fun, nature-based experiences together. After a short hike to the pond, we'll learn about the plants and animals who call it home. Using nets from the shore and free-floating docks, we'll explore the watery world.
Once we've collected our organisms, we'll investigate who they are and what role they play in the pond. Before our hike back, we'll release all organisms. Please register, spots are limited.

Washington University in St. Louis Baseball hosts a week-long baseball day camp in which boys and girls will learn baseball basics, play in the sun (and shade) and best of all - have FUN! With an age-appropriate curriculum and a safe environment, our college baseball coaches will show your son or daughter what it takes to be a Lil' Bear through instruction, games, wiffle ball, and – because every kid wants to get in the pool – SWIM TIME!
