USA Chess Camps offer full and half-day chess camps and full and half-day game builder video creation camps.

USA Chess Camp: Professional chess coaches from across the country teach children (ages 5 to 16) of all abilities the game of chess. Typical days include four hours of chess instruction and 2 hours of supervised practice and play in a format designed to make the camp fun and challenging. Class sizes are kept small to ensure a great learning experience.

Children's Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza

Kids can hop along the bunny trail for Hazelwood's annual Easter Egg Hunt and meet the Easter Bunny.

Kids can hop along the bunny trail to meet the Easter Bunny himself at this annual Easter Egg Hunt in White Birch Park in Hazelwood.

The hunt is for kids 10 and under, who will be divided into age groups for the egg hunt. Kids can also register to win a bike, and meet the Easter Bunny.

After the hunt, the Piwacket Children's Theater will present "Ugly Duckling" in the gym inside the Hazelwood Community Center.

Admission is free.

The Easter Bunny will be a special guest at this egg hunt sponsored by the cities of Richmond Heights and Maplewood.

The Easter Bunny is the special guest at this egg hunt sponsored by the cities of Richmond Heights and Maplewood. This free egg hunt will be held at the A.B. Green Athletic Complex, located at Laclede Station Road and Dale Avenue.

Children will hunt in groups according to their age: 3 and under, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-10. The hunt is peanut-free. A total of 5,000 eggs will be hidden, and special prizes await lucky hunters.

Kids should bring their own basket.

More than 4,000 candy filled eggs will be hidden throughout the Youth Activity Park for children to find during the 8th annual St. Charles County Parks Easter Egg Hunt.

More than 4,000 candy filled eggs will be hidden throughout the Youth Activity Park for children to find during the 8th annual St. Charles County Parks Easter Egg Hunt.

Kids up to age 12 can participate in the outside hunt as well as egg-themed games inside the park complex. The Easter Bunny will be the special guest and will pose for photos with children throughout the event.

There are three separate hunts:

• Ages 3 and under beginning at 10 a.m.

• Ages 4-6 beginning at 10:30 a.m., and

Fazio’s Rock Academy

Fazio’s Rock Academy is the summer destination for the aspiring rock star in your life! Campers attend one-week or two-week sessions (8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. daily) where they form a real band, choose a band name, write their own music, pose for a photo shoot and conclude with a live concert with special guest appearances by professional rock artists! Fazio's Rock Academy is for Guitarists, Vocalists, Bassists and Keyboardists between the ages of 9-17 years.

Two sessions are offered: July 15-19; and July 22-26. Each session is $399, which includes print music and a t-shirt. Ask about a discounted rate for two-week enrollment.
