One Happy Camper grants $1,000 to students in grades 1-12 who have never been to a Jewish overnight camp (restrictions apply). The program is a partnership between the Jewish Federation of St. Louis and the Federation for Jewish Camp.
All YMCAs across the Greater St. Louis region (except Marquette) will
be open to the public on New Year’s Day, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., to accommodate those individuals intent on making good on their New Year’s resolution of Healthy Living!
Those who join the Y on January 1 will receive a special membership offer and have the opportunity to take part in sample classes, special activities and receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last.
Hop aboard a narrated wagon ride around Shaw Nature Reserve’s three-mile Trail House Loop Road. The ride stops at the Trail House and wetland bus stop. It’s a great way to shorten the hike to the river or to the wetlands if you have small children or non-hikers in your group. Stay on the wagon for the entire hour or get off at either stop and get picked up later. All ages. Rides depart from the Visitor Center at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. $1 per person. Shaw Nature Reserve.
