Families can spend a beautiful spring afternoon hiking the Trail Among the Trees at Rockwoods Reservation. Along the way, there will be native wildflowers blooming, and you'll learn some of the amazing history of Rockwoods and how it has been restored over the past century.
The 1.5 mile trail is mostly paved and goes up and over one of the hills in Rockwoods. For all ages. Free.

Are snakes really slimy? How do they move, smell, hear and catch food? Little ones (ages 4-6) can learn about snakes and observe live snakes found in Missouri. They'll even be able to touch a snake if they want to,.
Come prepared to take a short hike to see if any snakes can be observed in their natural habitat. For ages 4-6 with a parent or caregiver.

In early spring, robins sing, woodpeckers drum and turkeys gobble. Soon there will be nests to build, eggs to incubate, chicks to feed and fledglings to teach. Kids ages 7 and up can learn about the avian life cycle and what science has discovered about it over the years.

Opossums are cute, and some people love them. Kids can learn all about the opossum in Missouri and decide for themselves. Using touch tables, games and going for a short hike, kids will learn about the opossum habitat and maybe see one of the secretive creatures.

For students age 4 through 17 years old, Becky Viola's Children's Theatre Workshop presents three, one-week drama camps in June and July. The shows are: Attack of the Pom Pom Zopmbies, How to Eat Like a Child, and for the younger group age 4-8, Peter Pan. It's incredible to experience, but in one week's time, Ms. Becky brings to life a full production with everything: sound, lights, set and costuming!

Fazio’s Rock Academy is the summer destination for the aspiring rock star in your life! Campers attend one-week or two-week sessions (8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. daily) where they form a real band, choose a band name, write their own music, pose for a photo shoot and conclude with a live concert with special guest appearances by professional rock artists! Fazio's Rock Academy is for Guitarists, Vocalists, Bassists and Keyboardists between the ages of 9-17 years.
