Big Truck Day at Kemp Auto Museum

This popular, free event let kids get up close to and explore new and antique fire trucks, tractors, monster trucks, hummers and some surprise guests. New this year is 'D-Rex,' the world's only monster truck Delorean.

Don't miss Big Truck Day at Kemp Auto Museum. All are welcome to this free, family friendly event, which includes live music, face painting for kids, refreshments, snow cones, barbecue and more.

Normally only seen from a distance, kids will have an opportunity to explore more than 40 trucks and off-road vehicles, including those from the military, new and antique fire trucks, tractors, monster trucks, hummers and even some surprise guests!

Chesterfield CityFest

Chesterfield celebrates its 25th anniversary with a day of live music, activities for kids, fireworks and more.

Help the city of Chesterfield celebrate its 25th year with a day full of fun for all ages. Start off the day with a splash at the Chesterfield Family Aquatic  Center, with safety demonstrations and a DJ. The fun continues on Venterans Place Drive with an Artists Village, inflatables face painting, magicians and other family friendly activities.

Live music is scheduled beginning at 5 p.m. from Sunny Sweeney, The Brian Bax Band and Diamond Rio.

The Butterfly House is celebrating earth's living lanterns - fireflies! At the Firefly Festival, families can take a glow walk around the conservatory, an outdoor firefly walk in Faust Park, visit the snack station for cookie decorating, and take part in fun flashlight crafts and games.

8-9:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person ($8 for members of the Missouri Botanical Garden).

Ackermann's Swim Program

Ackermann's Swim Program has been teaching children ages 4 to 11 the life skill of swimming and water safety in Kirkwood for over 60 years. Our non-competitive, safe teaching environment builds confidence and self-esteem.

Group swim lessons take place in four heated pools with different water levels for progressive, safe learning. Enroll in one-week or two-week sessions. Hours are 9:15 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, with drop off and pick up at the curb. Visit ASPKirkwood.com to download an application.
