The Ranken Jordan Kids Walk is a family friendly event organized by the hospital's junior board. Walkers can bring their dogs and walk wih the patients around the two-mile Ranken Jordan Challenge Walk course. Admission is $15 per person or $30 for two people and $5 for each additional person. Children under 3 are free. Admission includes a t-shirt, lunch, access to the Dog Agility Course and Doggie Dress-up Contest. Proceeds benefit the hospital.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation, St. Louis Chapter, works to serve the St. Louis community with medical assistance programs and provides uninsured and underinsured children with life-saving asthma and allergy medications, equipment, education and support. Help support the foundation at this 5K Run/Walk at Castlewood State Park. Ackermann's Swim Program has been teaching children ages 4 to 11 the life skill of swimming and water safety in Kirkwood for over 60 years. Our non-competitive, safe teaching environment builds confidence and self-esteem.
