Parents, guardians, teachers, therapists and OT/PT/ST
students are invited to attend this free seminar discussing ways to encourage laugage development in children through old-fashioned play.
Speech and language therapists will discuss the benefits of play, how play has changed over the years, how to facilitate lauguage development through play and how to encourage play at home. There will also be time for questions.
The public is welcome to shop this "garage sale" at the Manchester United Methodist Church. Shop for gently-worn, like new children's clothing, toys, furniture and games. All proceeds benefit the Circle of Friends Preschool.
The sale is from 7 a.m. to noon. Early bird shopping is open from 6:30 to 7 a.m. for a $5 cash entry fee. There is no admission fee after 7 a.m.
