The Saint Louis Science Center invites you to join the
party celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium with a new exhibition, special programs, laser shows and retro prices for star shows in the Planetarium.
All ages can explore the life cycle and unique characteristics of butterflies in the Life Science Lab Classroom at the Saint Louis Science Center.
This fun, informal classroom experience is held on select Saturdays and is for kids and adults. Space is limited and reservations are recommended. Cost is $5 per person ($5 for Science Center members).

How many poisonous snakes live in Missouri? Can a lizard grow a new tail? Find out the answers to these questions while discovering other neat things about snakes and lizards that live in Missouri.
Participants will be able to observe and touch live snakes. Come prepared to take a short hike to try to observe any snakes or lizards in the wild. Free. For ages 7 to 12.

Families can spend a beautiful spring afternoon hiking the Trail Among the Trees at Rockwoods Reservation. Along the way, there will be native wildflowers blooming, and you'll learn some of the amazing history of Rockwoods and how it has been restored over the past century.
The 1.5 mile trail is mostly paved and goes up and over one of the hills in Rockwoods. For all ages. Free.

In early spring, robins sing, woodpeckers drum and turkeys gobble. Soon there will be nests to build, eggs to incubate, chicks to feed and fledglings to teach. Kids ages 7 and up can learn about the avian life cycle and what science has discovered about it over the years.

Fazio’s Rock Academy is the summer destination for the aspiring rock star in your life! Campers attend one-week or two-week sessions (8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. daily) where they form a real band, choose a band name, write their own music, pose for a photo shoot and conclude with a live concert with special guest appearances by professional rock artists! Fazio's Rock Academy is for Guitarists, Vocalists, Bassists and Keyboardists between the ages of 9-17 years.
Two sessions are offered: July 15-19; and July 22-26. Each session is $399, which includes print music and a t-shirt. Ask about a discounted rate for two-week enrollment.
