As part of its monthly family concert series, KDHX will present the group The Doo Dads live at 3 p.m. This cool kid rock and roll band is made up of dads originally from the Kansas City area, and tour the country entertaining children. Ready…Set…Go! Charge up for St. Louis Children’s Hospital Make Tracks for the Zoo, set to run on Sunday, May 23, 2010. The Saint Louis Zoo’s annual 5K run/walk at 8 a.m. will wind through Forest Park, on a new USATF certified course. Participants will receive a disposable timing chip for more accurate results.
Can your kids harness the power of Mother Nature? Sure. All you need is some wind, a kite, and open space. The City of St. Peters provides all three for free during the annual Kite Festival, open to the public this year on Saturday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Woodlands Sports Park.
The St. Peters Rangers Division sponsors the Kite Festival each year for area families to get out to the park and enjoy the fun and wholesome activity of kite-flying. The first 100 kids will receive free kite-building kits. Refreshments will be available at a nominal cost.

See life-size replicas of prehistoric arthropods, explore displays of their living relatives and learn how these animals have changed over millions of years. Fossil records indicate that some animals were enormous as compared to today’s specimens. Encounter five of these oversized species taking up temporary residence inside the central exhibit hallway.

Fazio’s Rock Academy is the summer destination for the aspiring rock star in your life! Campers attend one-week or two-week sessions (8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. daily) where they form a real band, choose a band name, write their own music, pose for a photo shoot and conclude with a live concert with special guest appearances by professional rock artists! Fazio's Rock Academy is for Guitarists, Vocalists, Bassists and Keyboardists between the ages of 9-17 years.
