The Youth Services staff of St. Louis County Library presents a puppet show entitled “If the Shoe Fits” as part of the Library’s Summer Reading Club. If the Shoe Fits tells the familiar Cinderella story and some of its many interpretations.
Laumeier Sculpture Park is offering the best of both worlds during their Music+Movies Series 2011: Summer Adventure. Movies chosen for this year’s series correlate with Laumeier’s summer exhibition, Dog Days of Summer. Tonight’s artist is Pay the Cobra and the movie is “Annie.” All ages. Cool off at the Missouri History Museum’s Summer Family Fun Series! Held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays throughout the summer, this free program combines special guests, storytelling and hands-on arts and crafts projects for the kids. All of the fun is inspired by objects and themes in the Museum’s exhibitions.
The second annual Scouting Day at Circus Flora is Saturday, June 18. All Boy and Girl Scouts are invited to purchase their tickets through their troops, enjoy the performance together and stay afterwards for badge-related activities. All ages. 2 p.m. Prices vary. Grand Center.

Fazio’s Rock Academy is the summer destination for the aspiring rock star in your life! Campers attend one-week or two-week sessions (8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. daily) where they form a real band, choose a band name, write their own music, pose for a photo shoot and conclude with a live concert with special guest appearances by professional rock artists! Fazio's Rock Academy is for Guitarists, Vocalists, Bassists and Keyboardists between the ages of 9-17 years.
