Bring your doggie for a dip at The Lodge of Des Peres Outdoor Pool as they end the summer season. Watch your pooch paddle and play in the water, receive some tasty treats and make some frisky new friends! Owners must show current proof of the following vaccinations in order for their pups to participate: Distemper, Parvo, Rabies. Dogs will not be allowed entry without written documentation of the above vaccines. Owners may not swim with their pooches, this swim is for DOGS ONLY! Maximum of 150. $10 per dog. No pre-regisgtration required. 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Enjoy a cool summer concert on a hot summer night in Des Peres Park! Concerts are free and open to the public. Concerts are held in Des Peres Park, 12325 Manchester Road. Bring blankets and lawn chairs; concessions will be sold by Boy Scout Troop 313. Guests may carry in outside food and drinks. Alcohol is permitted in the park. No glass bottles, please. Fazio’s Rock Academy is the summer destination for the aspiring rock star in your life! Campers attend one-week or two-week sessions (8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. daily) where they form a real band, choose a band name, write their own music, pose for a photo shoot and conclude with a live concert with special guest appearances by professional rock artists! Fazio's Rock Academy is for Guitarists, Vocalists, Bassists and Keyboardists between the ages of 9-17 years.
Two sessions are offered: July 15-19; and July 22-26. Each session is $399, which includes print music and a t-shirt. Ask about a discounted rate for two-week enrollment.
