Beauty and the Beast

Date:
Fri, 2010-03-26 - Sun, 2010-03-28

The Young People's Theatre of St. Charles Community College will present the popular musical Beauty and the Beast March 19-21 and March 26-28. This "tale as old as time" is based on the animated Disney feature. Set in a lovely French town, this musical tells the story of Belle, who must give up her own freedom to save her father from a horrible beast and enchanted castle. While living in the castle, Belle comes to know, understand and eventually fall in love with the Beast, who is the victim of a spell cast many years earlier. The show will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $8 general admission and $7 for children and seniors. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville. More information and tickets: www.stchas.edu/calendars
