Celebrating over 40 years in business, Ridgefield Arena is a wonderful horse facility. The love of horses has been responsible for the beautiful grounds and amenities. Ridgefield has three lighted arenas (one indoor for year-round riding), six wash racks, a tack room, bridle trails and a fabulous viewing room.
They offer boarding for your horses, sales if you need a horse and a great riding academy to learn about horses. Ridgefield has a range of activities such as summer camps, birthday parties, horse clinics, and horse shows. 2012 camp dates are June 12-14, June 26-29, July 17-20, July 31-Aug. 3, and Aug. 7-10. Horse shows are April 28-29, June 2-3 and Sept. 22-23.
Have fun in the Summer Studios Art Camps at Craft Alliance for ages 4-18! Sculpt clay or work on a potter's wheel, make colorful glass beads or silver and copper jewelry, learn to paint and draw, discover computer arts, weave with colorful yarns and create wearable art as you learn about textiles of the world. For teens try the afternoon intensives and become a Summer Camp Intern. One-week camps begin June 4 and run through August 10.
