Big trucks will be a big deal at The Magic House on both Saturday, October 8 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm and Sunday, October 9 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Visitors can register to attend a Big Truck Day celebration where they can get up close and personal with some very big trucks including a cement mixer, crane, fire truck and more. Big Truck Day includes a hot dog meal, decorating a construction hat to take home and admission to The Magic House.
The cost is $12 per person for members and $15 per person for non-members and is non-refundable. Space is limited and reservations are required. Reservations can be made online at www.magichouse.org or by calling The Magic House at (314) 822-8900, ext. 18.
Have fun in the Summer Studios Art Camps at Craft Alliance for ages 4-18! Sculpt clay or work on a potter's wheel, make colorful glass beads or silver and copper jewelry, learn to paint and draw, discover computer arts, weave with colorful yarns and create wearable art as you learn about textiles of the world. For teens try the afternoon intensives and become a Summer Camp Intern. One-week camps begin June 4 and run through August 10.
