Many conservation minded Missourians recognize that early spring is a great time to provide feeding opportunities for song birds as their annual migration comes full circle. Have you ever tried to build your own bird feeder? There are many ways to offer bird seed throughout our yards, and together we can explore some clever and inexpensive feeding ideas. To round out this program, we will help you build your own bird feeder from plans outlined in our Woodworking for Wildlife booklet. We will provide the materials, you provide the elbow grease. Reservations are required. 9 to 11 a.m. Families. Free. Columbia Bottom Conservation Area.
