City Seeds Urban Farm Field Day

Learn more about urban farming, sustainable agriculture, the green industry, and therapeutic horticulture with guided tours of the farm every hour on the hour. There will also be a scrarecrow contest! All are welcome to bring a scarecrow to the farm to enter our scarecrow contest. Or make your own scarecrow at the farm. Win great prizes including free passes to Eckert Farms for some apple picking, hayrides and fall family fun on the farm! Categories for judging will include most traditional, most humorous, and best in show. Winning scarecrows can be donated to Gateway Greening to stand proud at City Seeds Urban Farm or one of the community gardens in St. Louis!

Learn a new recipe or two with food demonstrations and tastings using fresh farm produce as prepared by the outstanding chefs from Food Outreach and Operation Food Search.

Live music performed by incredibly talented musicians from the Folk School of St. Louis.

Magic House Summer Camp

Make your child's summer magical with a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience. Campers participate in fun, educational activities, explore The Magic House and more. A different theme is featured each day and even the snack becomes part of the hands-on fun!

Weeklong half-day camp is available for ages 4 to 9 from June through August. Plus, this summer the curtain will go up on a unique camping experience — Camp Curtain Call!
