The dark of night. Two miles, through the woods, following the straight-line path you create with the compass in your hands, searching for three waypoints in the northern part of the Busch Conservation Area. This off-trail navigation has you armed with flashlight, compass, laser light and map. Challenge, adventure and "braggin' rights" await you. Join our naturalists as they pass on the navigation experiences of a private pilot, outdoor education instructor, and more than 50-year veteran of trail blazing to you and your family and friends. Reservations are required. Ages 10 and up. 5 to 9 p.m. Free. August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area.

Have fun in the Summer Studios Art Camps at Craft Alliance for ages 4-18! Sculpt clay or work on a potter's wheel, make colorful glass beads or silver and copper jewelry, learn to paint and draw, discover computer arts, weave with colorful yarns and create wearable art as you learn about textiles of the world. For teens try the afternoon intensives and become a Summer Camp Intern. One-week camps begin June 4 and run through August 10.
