Experience the sounds of a late winter evening during a 3.2 mile hike. We will listen and watch for Timberdoodles (American Woodcocks) performing their courtship displays shortly after sunset. This "nature show" belongs to one of the strangest members of the bird world. Learn how the Timberdoodle locates and catches its food. We may also hear and see small frogs called Spring Peepers performing their courtship songs from the small ponds along the trail. Reservations are required. Families. 6 to 9:30 p.m. Free. August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area.
