Dachshund lovers and their lovable companions descend upon Soulard Market Park for the 18th annual PETsMART Wiener Dog Derby. The dachshunds race in three divisions based on age: Cocktail Wienies, Ballpark Franks and Hot Dogs. The finals are followed by the trophy presentation ceremony in the Wiener's Circle. The races include a tournament bracket, winners medals, racer pictures and local radio talent to call the race. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. at the park and the first heat takes place at 2 p.m. $10 to register your Dachshund and free to watch. All ages. Soulard Market Park.

Have fun in the Summer Studios Art Camps at Craft Alliance for ages 4-18! Sculpt clay or work on a potter's wheel, make colorful glass beads or silver and copper jewelry, learn to paint and draw, discover computer arts, weave with colorful yarns and create wearable art as you learn about textiles of the world. For teens try the afternoon intensives and become a Summer Camp Intern. One-week camps begin June 4 and run through August 10.
