Young rockers will sing, dance, explore visual art and play real instruments in this camp provided in partnership with Dave Simon’s Rock School. The camp will touch on basic musical concepts such as rhythm, harmony and tempo as students have the opportunity to play miniature instruments. They will be inspired in their love of rock and roll as they also learn some ‘back up’ dance steps and create t-shirts to wear for the big performance for family and friends on the final day of camp. Ages 4 to 5. 12:15 to 3 p.m. $105 for members/$115 non-members plus $40 supply fee. Center of Creative Arts.

Have fun in the Summer Studios Art Camps at Craft Alliance for ages 4-18! Sculpt clay or work on a potter's wheel, make colorful glass beads or silver and copper jewelry, learn to paint and draw, discover computer arts, weave with colorful yarns and create wearable art as you learn about textiles of the world. For teens try the afternoon intensives and become a Summer Camp Intern. One-week camps begin June 4 and run through August 10.
