Join Fontbonne University’s CampF.R.E.S.H. and rockstar
nutritionist Jill Jayne, MS, RD, for “Jump with Jill” – a live rock & roll nutrition concert performance. Jayne will perform in the Dunham Student Activity Center Café (680 Wydown Blvd.) on Fontbonne’s campus on Friday, Aug. 3 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all.
CampF.R.E.SH. was created by Dr. Cheryl Houston, director of Fontbonne’s dietetics program, who wanted to proactively combat the growing problem of childhood obesity in the U.S. She came up with the concept for a camp that taught children healthy eating and lifestyle habits while educating them about cultures from around the world. Her vision became a reality during the summer of 2011 under the supervision of camp director and dietetics instructor Mary Beth Ohlms.
Jump with Jill’s mission to end childhood obesity aligns perfectly with the goals of CampF.R.E.S.H and serves as the culmination to a summer of learning and perpetuating a healthy lifestyle.
