St. Louis Open Streets in Old North St. Louis

Open Streets is a free community event that transforms seven miles of City streets into car-free area for cyclists, pedestrians and everyone else to enjoy. Connecting to the Old North Farmers' Market and the Riverfront Trail, this route through Old North City Louis is excellent for serious cyclists as well as those who simply want to visit Crown Candy Kitchen, stroll through the marketplace, or see the community's acclaimed revitalization of historic properties. This event will feature healthy living activities such as yoga and Zumba, as well as some of St. Louis' favorite food trucks, live music, and art, active living and culinary demonstrations. 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All ages. Free. Old North St. Louis.

Craft Alliance Summer Camps

Have fun in the Summer Studios Art Camps at Craft Alliance for ages 4-18! Sculpt clay or work on a potter's wheel, make colorful glass beads or silver and copper jewelry, learn to paint and draw, discover computer arts, weave with colorful yarns and create wearable art as you learn about textiles of the world. For teens try the afternoon intensives and become a Summer Camp Intern. One-week camps begin June 4 and run through August 10.
