Food allergies are a potentially life-threatening condition
that affect approximately 12 million Americans, or one in 25 people, many of them children. The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) supports research on the causes and treatments of food allergies and works to improve the quality of life of those affected. The St. Louis FAAN chapter will hold its annual walk to raise funds for this important research on Saturday, Oct. 29.
Registration is available as an individual or you can form a team (or join an existing team). Strollers and wagons are welcome. The walk will take place rain or shine.
The walk will be held at Creve Coeur Park, Tremayne Shelter (lakefront), 2143 Creve Coeur Mill Rd., St. Louis, MO 63146. Check in begins at 10 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m.
Washington University in St. Louis Baseball hosts a week-long baseball day camp in which boys and girls will learn baseball basics, play in the sun (and shade) and best of all - have FUN! With an age-appropriate curriculum and a safe environment, our college baseball coaches will show your son or daughter what it takes to be a Lil' Bear through instruction, games, wiffle ball, and – because every kid wants to get in the pool – SWIM TIME!
