Storytelling at the Museum: Fun with Eric Carle at the Missouri History Museum

Come to the Missouri History Museum for free family fun! The Storytelling at the Museum program engages the youngest visitors in historic objects and museum settings through traditional and contemporary stories. Storytelling will begin at 10:30 a.m., but come before or after to play with puppets, make crafts, build a puzzle or escape to the rainbow retreat to read stories on your own. This week, brighten up your day with Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar and other colorful books. Ages 2 to 5. 10:30 a.m. Free. Missouri History Museum.

Craft Alliance Summer Camps

Have fun in the Summer Studios Art Camps at Craft Alliance for ages 4-18! Sculpt clay or work on a potter's wheel, make colorful glass beads or silver and copper jewelry, learn to paint and draw, discover computer arts, weave with colorful yarns and create wearable art as you learn about textiles of the world. For teens try the afternoon intensives and become a Summer Camp Intern. One-week camps begin June 4 and run through August 10.
