Unless kids are searching for their iPods or your wallet, most older kids think that egg hunts are so five minutes ago. But the Teen Egg Hunt at Kirkwood is a chance for them to relive their glory days. Held after the sun goes down, the event starts with pizza and drinks and wraps up with an egg hunt in Kirkwood Park. 7:30 to 9 p.m. Ages 10 to 14. $5 for residents and $7 for non-residents. Ackermann's Swim Program has been teaching children ages 4 to 11 the life skill of swimming and water safety in Kirkwood for over 60 years. Our non-competitive, safe teaching environment builds confidence and self-esteem.
