Learn skills to enhance your outdoor experience while practicing personal safety and outdoor responsibility at the Wonders of Wildlife (WOW) event. Kids 9 and older can attend classes in archery, canoeing, fishing, woodworking, orienteering, rock climbing, outdoor cooking and more. Meanwhile, youngsters 4 to 8 can have a blast at the event’s enhanced day camp experience, It’s All About Outside Kids Camp. Spend the night in Forest Park and enjoy a cookout, campfire and nature programs. Classes run on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $10 per person or $25 per family and financial assistance is available. Forest Park.

Ackermann's Swim Program has been teaching children ages 4 to 11 the life skill of swimming and water safety in Kirkwood for over 60 years. Our non-competitive, safe teaching environment builds confidence and self-esteem.
