Date:
Sat, 2012-02-18

A potato that’s purple and looks like Uncle Pete. A gallon of milk wearing a cowboy hat. Your kids can create the world’s strangest grocery list with genius list lover Bill Keaggy and unravel the mystery behind who the owner of the grocery list really is. Have fun, make lists, and discover how easy coming up with ideas can be!

Bill Keaggy is the author of two books, Milk Eggs Vodka: Grocery Lists Lost and Found and 50 Sad Chairs. His projects have appeared in The New York Times, The L.A. Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Bon Appetit and more, including NPR, CBC, and the Jimmy Kimmel Show as well as many books, lots of blogs and at least one documentary film.

StudioSTL's Young Writer's Workshops are open to all writers ages 6-10 on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to Noon. Workshops are held at the Grand Center studio in the Centene Center for the Arts and Education (3547 Olive Street in Grand Center) and are free of charge.
