Whenever I write about an event where the public can get up close to large trucks or machinery, I always wonder who is going to enjoy it more — the kids or the grownups? Maybe we can figure out the answer at Kemp Auto Museum’s third annual Big Truck Day. Climb aboard and explore some of the area’s largest trucks, including dump trucks, ambulances, excavators, hummers, and trucks from MODot. If you’re hungry after all that climbing around, refreshments will be available for purchase. And don’t forget to bring a camera.
Are fast cars are more your style? Come back in the fall for the Museum’s Ferraris on the Piazza event on September 12 and All Porsche Auto Show on October 17. Museum admission will be reduced to $5.00 for those events.
