The Magic Tree House travels to St. Louis

Do your kids love the adventures of Jack and Annie from the Magic Tree House series? From prehistoric times to the kingdom of Camelot, this dynamic duo has taken millions of children to far away lands and mythical places. In the latest installment of the series, A Crazy Day with Cobras, the siblings travel to India to save Merlin’s penguin Penny from a terrible spell.

If your family can’t get enough of Jack and Annie, stop by St. Louis County Library Headquarters to meet the authors of the Magic Tree House series.

Come early for pre-event activities for the kids sponsored by The Magic House. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase your copy of A Crazy Day with Cobras at the event from Pudd’nHead Books. Books for signing must be bought at the event.

Since its debut in 1992, this popular series has sold 70 million copies in North American alone. The books have been translated into 28 different languages in 31 countries. Besides being the author of all of the Magic Tree House books, Mary Pope Osborne has also written numerous novels, picture books and non-fiction titles. Her sister, Natalie Pope Boyce, is the coauthor of the bestselling Magic Tree House Research Guides.

The Magic Tree House author meet and greet is taking place on Monday, Jan. 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Louis County Library Headquarters. This event is free and open to the public. The Magic House activities are taking place at 5:30 p.m. For more information, visit the St. Louis County Library’s website or give them a call at (314) 994-3300.
