Show Mama Some Love This Mother’s Day

There is nothing more special than a mother’s love. Show mama how much she means to you with a fabulous outing this Mother’s Day. At The Magic House, you can celebrate the holiday on the cheap with free admission just for moms.

Spend the day fishing in the Walker Pond, singing patriotic Karaoke in the Star-Spangled Center, solving mysteries in the Mystery Mezzanine and more. Over at the Missouri History Museum, Moms can enjoy the afternoon with a spectacular afternoon of classical music presented by the Landolfi Quartet. Before the concert, stop by Bixby’s, the museum’s in-house restaurant, for a delicious Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch. You’ll nosh on salads, desserts, entrees, omelets and other locally inspired food while dining on the museum overlook.

• Speaking of brunch, the St. Louis Zoo has a darn good one for Mother’s Day. Complete with carving and waffle stations, breakfast fare, salads, cheeses, chicken, pasta, desserts and more, brunch at the Saint Louis Zoo is a wild way to spend the day. Pre-paid reservations are required.

• Remember that bike Santa gave you for Christmas? Dust it off and pedal down to the South Grand Mother’s Day Bike Tour. Hit the pavement for a 5-mile ride through Tower Grove Park or take either a 20 or 34-mile ride through some of south city’s most scenic neighborhoods. Along the way, stop by the Compton Hill Water Tower and climb the steps to the best view of the city.

Magic House Summer Camp

Make your child's summer magical with a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience. Campers participate in fun, educational activities, explore The Magic House and more. A different theme is featured each day and even the snack becomes part of the hands-on fun!
